Scarborough ferry - fast and nice
Scarborough ferry is foranyone. If you're of an adventurous frame of mind, and have time to spare, you can revert to the mode of transportation that islanders used before the advent of air travel: Scarborough ferry and the traditional mailboats.
Although fast, modern, air-conditioned Scarborough ferry now make some of the trips, some of the more remote destinations are still served by slow, old-fashioned craft with few amenities. Within the $loc ferry, it has the most, and most comfortable, options for island-hopping, that offer food and beverages served by cabin attendants.

Scarborough ferry - a good transportation choice
Riding the ferry or a boat between Trinidad and Tobago can be a fun way to visit both islands, but with a one-way trip lasting at least five hours, the cruise can take up a lot of time. Ports of entry are located on both islands, where interisland ferries harbor. In Trinidad, most ferry services are available at the port in Port of Spain. In Tobago, ferries dock in Scarborough. Several ferry services shuttle passengers between Trinidad's Port of Spain and Tobago's Scarborough every day except Saturday. Ferries depart Trinidad at 2:00 p.m. on weekdays and 11:00 a.m. Sundays. Boats leave Tobago at approximately 11:00 p.m. The trip one-way between the islands takes at least five hours. Travelers may want to book their cabins well in advance because during the busier times of year ferries can be fully booked. Vacationers who rent cars in either in Tobago or Trinidad will be pleased to know that the interisland ferries have cargo space large enough to hold most vehicles, so you can take your car with you and drive on either island. The price of the ferry depends on the cabin size and whether you travel economy or tourist class. When double cabins are available, the cost is approximately $160 Trinidad and Tobago dollars (TT$), approximately $26(USD), but the cost for children younger than 12 is half price. Economy class cabins are TT$50, approximately $8(USD) while tourist class accommodations are more expensive at TT$60, about $10(USD). Travelers who enjoy spending time on the water, and who aren't in a hurry, may enjoy the experience of an interisland ferry between Trinidad and Tobago.
